Refund, Fees & Payment

Last updated: 05.08.2026

This policy explains how pricing, payment and refunds work for ModsHub. It forms part of our Terms of Service. ModsHub is operated by OpenCore OÜ (registration number 16879619, VAT EE102688003), Sepapaja tn 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia.

1. Fees

The ModsHub application, the standard library and the optimization tools are free to use.

ModsHub Plus is an optional paid subscription. Current prices, billing periods and any applicable taxes are shown on the ModsHub Plus page and again at checkout before you confirm your order. Nothing is charged until you complete a purchase.

2. Payment methods and who you are buying from

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and — depending on your region — local payment methods offered at checkout.

Depending on the method you choose, your order is completed in one of two ways.

Orders processed by Paddle. Paddle.com acts as our online reseller and is the Merchant of Record for these orders. Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction, collects and remits any applicable tax, and handles payment enquiries and refunds under its own buyer terms. Your statement will show "Paddle" or "Paddle.net", and you can look up a charge at paddle.net.

Orders processed directly by us. For all other payment methods, OpenCore OÜ is the seller. We collect and remit any applicable tax ourselves and handle refunds under this policy.

The checkout shows which of the two applies before you confirm, and your emailed receipt identifies the seller for that transaction. If you are not sure which route your order took, email us at [email protected] with your order reference and we will tell you.

3. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

The renewal date and amount are shown at the point of purchase and at any time in your account. We also send a payment receipt for every charge.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time:

Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access to ModsHub Plus until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund — see below.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU / UK consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction granting an equivalent right, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase and receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason.

To withdraw, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. If your order was processed by Paddle, you can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net. We will confirm receipt and arrange the refund through whichever provider handled your original payment.

6. Refunds outside the withdrawal period

Beyond the 14-day period, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis. We will normally refund you where:

  • the Service or a material feature you paid for was unavailable or did not work as described, and we were unable to resolve it;
  • you were charged in error, or charged more than once for the same period;
  • a renewal was taken after you had cancelled.

We may decline a refund where the request relates to a subscription that has been substantially used over a full billing period, where an account has been terminated for breach of our Terms, or where there is evidence of abuse of this policy.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method, through the provider that handled the original payment. We aim to approve or decline a request within 5 business days; how quickly the money then reaches you depends on your bank, card issuer or PayPal.

7. Problems before you ask for a refund

Most issues — a failed install, a mod not appearing, a compatibility problem — can be fixed quickly. Contact us at [email protected] or through our Discord and we will help. If we cannot resolve it, we will refund you under Section 6.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer. Where Paddle.com was the Merchant of Record for your order, Paddle's own buyer terms may also grant you rights in addition to those set out here.

If we cannot resolve a complaint directly, consumers resident in Estonia may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority. Consumers resident elsewhere in the EU or the EEA can find a competent alternative dispute resolution body in the European Commission's official list. Free assistance with a cross-border complaint is available from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) — the Estonian contact point is ECC Estonia.
